CANNOT WAIT!!! I know what a huge relief it is to know that Sammy is officially yours, and that he will soon be home. May is just around the corner and what a wonderful time for him to make his debut in the US. Warm weather. A month with the big kids still in school. Plenty of time to get him used to the newness before the summer fun begins. I can't wait to see him with his new family. You will finally get to see his smile in person, Amy. In person! Love and Congratulatory hugs!!!

Okay... I am remembering with heartbreaking detail what we all felt like last year during the never-ending sob session of waiting. The wait is the agonizing wretch that cannot be denied throughout this process. It is everywhere we turn and we have no control to escape it's power. It is almost like it's the final emotional toll we IA parents must endure to have that glorious baby waiting at the other end of it all. Like the final weeks of pregnancy. When you're fat and your nose looks huge, and your parts are all stretched and bulging. You can't sleep, You can't eat, or only eat in copious amounts. Your spouse just looks on and sighs, that all-telling sigh of a husband whose, once hot, wife has just gained fifty six pounds and has hemmorhoids. So, you sit in the baby's room. You smell their newly Dreft-washed clothes. You hold up the tiny diapers their little toosh will soon occupy, and you accept the final blows of pregnant motherhood with grace and dignity, along with several major melt-downs, because you know soon it will all be hindsight. Soon, your baby will know the love you have felt from the start, and return it in the form of nuzzles and coos. And girl, you are almost there. That baby boy is going to be your heart, and you will be his. Soon Mamma, SOON! Love You...and cry while you take a shower.

OMG, they cut off his curls...You must grow them back as soon as he arrives home! Those cheeks...Come On!!! I am so glad you got an update and some new photos. I think of your little man every day, and know that seeing his little face in new photos makes the wait a BIT more bearable. I know this is a big favor to ask, but I think we're close enough that I shouldn't have to feel timid...When you travel to pick up Sam, can you plese bring his little friend in the yellow hat home for me? You can put him/her in your purse!!! Please see what you can do. I feel like that baby needs two crazy sisters! I adore him already, and that "waking up" picture is so funny! Hugs and Smooches from New York

Amy, you go girl! Nice job! That dresser looks nothing like it's former self, and the colors are so soft. I especially like the picture with Snickers in it... A beautiful room for a beautiful boy! We must e-mail back and forth while Sharon is in China!!! Miss you
