Thanks so much for sharing your blog with so many! Isn't babyjellybeans the best? We returned from China on June 24 and have been with our Tian since June 15. It's been three weeks today! It seems that both our kids are adjusting well! It's great how supportive your other children are of each other--what a blessing!

Love the family pics! The kids are so adorable-- how exciting for them to all be home and have family time together. I bet little Samuel is just loving his family and it's so wonderful that he's growing-- he looks so happy and healthy! Hope you guys are getting adjusted and enjoying the summer! Miss and love you all!

ohAmy!! I squealed with delight to see your email- that there was another post- that you were home and reunited!! Then I started to read and just cry. Your journey home- so hard. That limo - so amazing!! The photos of your 3am party will be a cherished memory forever for all of you- but especially Sam. I just adore these photos!! Many a Mom can relate to what you are describing- your sore throat, exhaustion, coupled with a fierce determination to be there for all your children- but especially the newest, littlest one. Yet, so few of us can really speak to what it is like to have 6 children needing you so much. I appreciated your honesty- your feeling over-stimulated and tired. How could you not be? I imagine taking it moment by moment, hour by hour- not even day by day yet- is the way to do it. I also know that no matter how much help you have- you are the only Mom and your kids ultimately want you and that's a lot weighing on your mind. I imagine in a family your size they will all give each other the hug or love needed when Mom's and Dad's arms are full! I bet you are right, Sam is not sure if he is back at another orphanage with all these Dinello kids and will have to learn it is forever before he settles in. One day it will be hard to believe he ever doubted it- but for now, it will be a lot of loving work for all of you. I believe you will do a better job of it than anyone I know. I hope you can get some sleep. It really does help. I hope you can all take it slow- hunker down and let the busy world go by while you all connect as a family of 8!! wow! I am truly praying for you all the time- and gather such strength from all you are doing!! You inspire me in so manying

Amy & Darrin, congratulations. I just read some of your blogs and am so happy to hear that you prevailed over all the problems that came up on the trip (the form 23 issue looked to be quite serious, good work to all for getting that squared away) and the flight home, while grueling, was a minor problem by comparison. Having lived through one problem like that, I know how disruptive it can be. Glad for you that it was solved. The next few months will be difficult and challenging, but it looks like Sam is adjusting very well and will thrive in his new environment with his "forever" family. I'm so glad to hear that he is bonding well with you, Darrin and his siblings. That makes a big difference. Again, congratulations and welcome home.
