Wow. wow. I am praying for you all. It must be such a scary feeling. I believe it will all work out- of course it will. Just hope in the speediest way possible. Amazing story about Hope's friend from the orphanage. truly- another example of what we have discussed- there are no accidents with these kinds of things!! Well, I am truly praying that all is resolved tomorrow and you are on your way home soon. What terrific news that he is growing and healthy!! good luck tomorrow!!

I am sitting here with Charlie on my lap and Hope is sitting on the desk. Charlie said that there were lots of pictures of you guys on the puter. He wanted them on :) He wants to say" Hi Mommy & Daddy. I miss you. ...I can't wait to play with Sam and eat doughnuts with Hannah & Joseph"....Hope says" I love you Mommy & Daddy" & "Hi Joseph & Hannah" Taryn says " Aunt Amy, these kids are a little crazy" (Hope keeps putting her in the play area under the steps and telling her to go to sleep :)) Anyway, they are so sweet and having fun.....I will pray your papers come tomorrow and for your safe journey home. Have a great day! XOXO, Deb

Hi beautiful family, half way there, at the White Swan, with a smiling stunning new baby...I miss you too! I, of course, remember that tearful goodbye in front of those poor half-starved kitties and I remember thinking, "I must stay in touch with that woman...I love her so!" And here we all are, over a year later, forever friends and you're reliving the GZ experience through a different lense with your wonder baby. I WISH I were there with you to see you through the last leg, to watch your Sam smile, and your Joseph long for his babyhood, and your Hannah, the Super Nanny, working her magic with every Chinese baby she meets! Please have a cold beer for me at Lucy's and tell Darrin that I don't believe he bought that local alcohol "just for the nice bottle" for a minute!!! I am glad you are four days from home, which puts me about three, four, five weeks from meeting Sam in person! Give those beautiful children a hug from New York! Oh, and get this...I am going to be key-note speaker at Winthrop Hospital's International Adoption Programs first Post-Adoption Group Meeting. Keynote speaker? Weird. Love You...four more days!!!!

Congrats on your easy journey and good traveler baby!!! And he is eating food- what a huge step!! He is obviously so happy and his smile is just the best. I bet it is weird to be back at the hotel you were at with Hope- like a place from a different lifetime- yet it's still there!! Weird feeling! Beautiful weather and weekend here. Getting our electric fence installed to day for puppy. We leave monday, june 8 for Seabrook Island, SC for a week of vacation. Kids are finished school this friday!! so, hope we can come visit end of this month or sometime in july- whenever you are ready. I know best to let Sam settle in! Hope the eating and sleeping continue to go well and that he doesn't mind the shots! if only he knew how yummy the lollipop was after the shot!!
