Oh Amy!! I squealed with delight to see your email- that there was another post- that you were home and reunited!! Then I started to read and just cry. Your journey home- so hard. That limo - so amazing!! The photos of your 3am party will be a cherished memory forever for all of you- but especially Sam. I just adore these photos!! Many a Mom can relate to what you are describing- your sore throat, exhaustion, coupled with a fierce determination to be there for all your children- but especially the newest, littlest one. Yet, so few of us can really speak to what it is like to have 6 children needing you so much. I appreciated your honesty- your feeling over-stimulated and tired. How could you not be? I imagine taking it moment by moment, hour by hour- not even day by day yet- is the way to do it. I also know that no matter how much help you have- you are the only Mom and your kids ultimately want you and that's a lot weighing on your mind. I imagine in a family your size they will all give each other the hug or love needed when Mom's and Dad's arms are full! I bet you are right, Sam is not sure if he is back at another orphanage with all these Dinello kids and will have to learn it is forever before he settles in. One day it will be hard to believe he ever doubted it- but for now, it will be a lot of loving work for all of you. I believe you will do a better job of it than anyone I know. I hope you can get some sleep. It really does help. I hope you can all take it slow- hunker down and let the busy world go by while you all connect as a family of 8!! wow! I am truly praying for you all the time- and gather such strength from all you are doing!! You inspire me in so many ways!!

It's so good to see you home and enjoying your kiddos! What a crazy trip home it must have been for all of you, though. Hang in there! The first few days are really rough, but things will definately get better in time. We're praying for you an so anxious to meet Sam and see Hope again!

Welcome Home...the immediate reality is harsh, the rush, the return to other children's demands, laundry, meals...the day to day grind, jealousy. I am sending you strength and a case of beer (j.k.) to deal with the stress and emotions you will need to tackle to get through this next few weeks. By the time we are all partying on the Jersey Shore, Sammy and Hope will have established their roles, and everything will be less chaotic...I know it will. Because if I know anyone who can get themselves and their children through anything, it's you and Darrin. So tonight, when your eyes are burning, and your bed is calling, and Sam wants you up and all to himself: bear in mind that this will all be behind you...soon my friend, soon. My heart is with you all, as always.

Congratulations. Samuel is adorable. We enjoyed reading your story. We came home with our daughter Lexi six months ago. Loved reading about Jordan. We too loved his store and purchased many of our gifts from him. What a wonderful man! Congratulations again. Would love to talk some day.
