On June 29, 2007. we found our beautiful daughter on Madison Adoption Associates Waiting Children list after much prayer and feeling called to adopt a child with a cleft lip and palate.  We decided to name her  Zoie which means "life" and keep her Chinese name Tong Xin which means "to share joy".  She has had her lip repaired already, and her palate will be closed soon after she arrives home.  She is blessed to reside in an orphanage in Xian Yang City (Shaanxi province) that has a section run by an organization called Caring for China's Children which is directed by volunteers from the U.S. and other western countries.  This section is called Hope Haven, and  we have no doubt that she receives very good care, but are counting down the days until she is home with us.
