Today Ashton was so excited-while she was waiting in the car pool line after school, she found a ladybug(the ultimate in good luck signs). We are hoping that means that referrals will be here very soon! She did note that there were 7 spots on the ladybug-her predicition that Anna Grace will be 7 months old at time of referral! She is so excited to be a big sister to Anna Grace.  I can't wait to see the 2 of them together! I am so proud of Ashton!

Ashton and Max have been friends since they were born.  Max's mom, Jodi, and I are best friends so they had to be also.  We celebrate all holidays with them.  Every year we go Trunk or Treating with them.  This year Max was Darth Maul and Ashton was a witch.  We had a great time with them!
Barrier Island 2006-10-06 07:15:46.0
Ashton just got back from her 5th grade field trip to Barrier Island.  She had so much fun.  She shared a cabin with 2 of her favorite friends, Ashli and Marie.  She was a waitress at the table for their group several times.  Her favorite part of the trip was the salt marsh.  She was covered in mud! Her dad printed matching tshirts for both of her classes and everyone looked so cute.  It's hard to believe she will be in middle school next year.

Ashton was chosen to be a Safety Patrol at school.  This is a big deal for the 5th graders.  Ashton patrols in the afternoon for the kindergarten loop.  She loves it.

Ashton started 5th grade today-WOW! She was so excited to be in Mrs. Crowe's class.  She is sitting with Ashli, Marie, Krissy and Amy.  There is such a great group of kids in her class.  She will change classes with Mrs. Bullard's class also.  This is going to be a great year!
