Born for Us
As the paper chasing continued we received a phone call on Thursday, August 10, 2006 from our family coordinator at AWAA with wonderful news. WE HAD A REFERRAL (a term that is used when you are matched with a child who has been chosen for your family). She was a 14 month old little girl living in an orphanage in Kunming City. Kunming City is in southern China and located in the Yunnan Province. Her special need was that she is pigeon - toed.
Her birthday is April 25, 2005. She was born before God changed our course which renders me speechless when I think about how He changed our direction through the compassionate words of our son knowing that at that very time He had already created her and so gently directed our paths in order to bring her to us. "HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!". We knew in our hearts that she was born for us.
