Our main event yesterday was a visit to the Terracotta Warrior Museum.  These Terracotta Warriors are featured in many movies including the Disney movie Mulan.  I have to admit that I knew nothing of their background or history but considering that next to The Great Wall they are one of the most famous Chinese attraction I was thrilled to go for a visit.  I found them very interesting particularly how they were discovered broken into many pieces and have been put back together by archeologists.  We traveled through 3 exhibitions where we view different types of warriors.  I was going to try to cut and paste some info concerning the history of this exhibit but I realized that if you want to know about them you can google “terracotta warriors” and you will get more info than you can imagine.  It was definitely a site worth seeing.  After our tour we took a drive by the mound which is the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di and during our drive back to the city of Xi’an we noticed a very beautiful archway the Mike sent shock waves through our driver and guide by taking a photo outside the car window while it was moving.    I hope you enjoy our photos….
