As each holiday came and went, we kept the faith that we would have Carter home for Christmas. It broke our hearts when we began to realize he would spend his first Christmas in the hospital. We decided to focus on all the Christmas' to come and keep moving forward. Besides, we knew Santa would find us and he did!
