It's so hard to believe that Collin is already five months old. The time is flying by, and Collin is changing every day. He certainly has his own personality, which is laid back and very happy. We constantly get comments about his demeanor and what a smiley baby he is. It's amazing to watch him learn and discover new things each day. He has really began babbling with "Gee, Gee, Gah, Gah, Da, Da, Ooo, Ooo." We love listening and having "conversations" with him. We feel so blessed and fortunate to have such a great lil' baby!
Today Collin weighs around 17 1/2 lbs. He is eating 8oz every 4 1/2 to 5 hours. Our mister has even dropped a bottle in the afternoon and has traded it out with cereal and baby food. Collin's favorite thing to eat is applesauce, squash and sweet potatoes. He is not a big fan of green beans or peaches. He has learned that when we give him his spoon that it's time to eat and he smacks his hands on his tray and squeals. It's adorable! He's also started eating teething biscuits and loves how messy they are.
Collin is still sleeping great...he goes to bed around 8 or 8:30 and sleeps most mornings until 7. He is a "cat napper"...he doesn't take very long naps, but takes several of them a day. Most of his clothes now are 6-9 months, although some are still 3-6. It's so funny how one day something fits him and the next it doesn't.
Fall is finally here and Collin loves going outside. We try to get him out as often as we can, and he really loves to "people watch." We always catch him in the store or in a restaurant staring at others. We'll have to teach him when he gets a bit older that it's bad manners, but right now we giggle and wonder what it is that he is thinking.
It's been a fabulous five months and now it's hard to imagine what life was like before Collin...he is the best!
