Choosing names for our children has never been an easy process.  In fact we have had this really unusual way of agreeing on a name and this time around was no different except that we chose  a few different names, tried them on for a while, decided we didn't like it and tried another.  There have been a couple of names but the final choice is....

JOSHUA LEWIS MINOT

After determining that we just weren't happy with our choice Mike mentioned that he liked Joshua and Caleb.  I has always loved those names but the fact that I was doing Beth Moore's bible study, Believing God helped me know that Joshua was in fact the "one" as I read about Joshua each week.  We wanted our brown-eyed boy to have a strong name, full of meaning and couldn't imagine a more fitting name for him.  Joshua, was a mighty warrior for God, a man who passionately trusted and followed the Lord.  I pray that my sweet boy will follow in the footsteps of the man for who was named.  And Lewis is after Mike's favorite author, C.S. Lewis.  We wanted some to include a connection to a man whose writing has impacted Mike's life greatly.... so there we are Joshua Lewis Minot.  I can't wait to hear that name amidst our daily life...what music to my ears that will be.

And finally, Joshua's room is complete.  With the exception of some artwork for the walls (which I haven't been able to find) his room is all ready for him.  I have attached a few photos below:
