Reporting from Guangzhou China this is mommy to The Little Prince and I am happy to say that all is well.  Yesterday was quiet as we did little to nothing.  I actually found it really nice to not have anywhere to go and nothing to do.  Joshua loved his new ride and we meandered around the Island.  We made a stop at Starbucks where I enjoyed a better latte than the day before.  We ventured into the White Swan and attempted to take a couple of photos.  Joshua wasn’t overly cooperative.  He was fascinated with the waterfall and the fish.  I will have to say that I am more than a little disappointed that I didn’t request to stay at the White Swan.  We thought that The Victory would be comparable but there really is no comparison, the White Swan is far superior in our opinion.  We headed back to the hotel room where we had the most wonderful   chat with our #1 son and Miss Sara.  It did my heart good to talk with them.  It was late for them and the girls were asleep and while we missed see the three girlies we had a wonderful conversation with Cody and Sara.  Joshua took a nap and Mike and I watched a movie.

We hit Lucy’s again for some French fries and then were treated to a night cruise down the Pearl River.  The cruise was absolutely terrific.  All of the buildings were covered with lights that resembled something that you would see at Disney world.  The bridges were also lit up in unique ways and while it was a little chilly it was a great way to end the day.  Mike got some really nice photos of the lights to give a taste of what we saw.

I think our days with Joshua are getting better and better.  He still is busy busy busy and into everything not nailed down but is responding a little more to us and I do think he comprehends what” no” means.  Now does he obey…not always.  He loves chatting on skype with Cody, Grace and Emily and seems to already have settled into being the +1 of our six pack.  I continue to stand amazed at how perfect are the ways of the Lord.  He created our little prince to be the PERFECT addition to our family.   I cannot believe that I have this joy of being his mama.    Our day will be much of the same however we do need to hit the medical office again to have Joshua’s TB test read.  It doesn’t look that good so we are praying that we don’t have to get a chest x-ray.  If you read this post in the next hour we would love some prayers that all goes well.  Thanks for reading and it is my prayer that you are in some way touched by our story and that the light of God’s goodness is shining brightly through our journey.  Sending lots of love and hugs to you all!!!
