I just want you to know that I have been following your story, and am so happy for Brea and the whole family. My cousin, 22, died May 8, 1996 and donated his organs. I am an RN(Emergency Room), and have been inspired to send my resume to NY Organ Donor Network for a position. They are in desperate need of tranplant coordinators. God Bless You All and best wishes on Wed. Sandra-LID 3/27/06(and waiting, waiting!)

Mary and Dan, I just got done watching ABC news with Charles Gibson and he had a little 5 yr. old boy, Joseph, on the program that had the same thing that Brea had and he also had a Berlin heart and now has a new heart. He was from South Carolina and I wish they had told more about the fiancing of this proceedure. Wouldn't it be great if you two could compare notes. Hope everything is going great with your family. I think Joseph's doctor was Dr. Hsi. I hope the check up goes fine. Sara

Congratulations, Brea, on a wonderful one month anniversary since your surgery. We love looking at your happy pictures. Maria was ready to come see you after Mass on Sunday. It was great to remind her that you were at home!!! Prayers for a great check -up and travel.

What a blessing to hear how well Brea is doing and that your entire family are home together where you belong. God provided in so many ways for your family but you are so correct, 'There's no place like home!' Praying for Brea's upcoming visit with the doctor. On another note, thought of your sweet family Sunday night as I watched, 'Extreme Makeover, Home Improvement.' Ty and one of the gals were at ACH distributing toys in the cancer area on behalf of the family they were building the home for. I thought, 'Hey - that's Brea's hospital!' :o) You have blessed many people Mary and it is so exciting to read the testimonies of those whom are being touched by God through you. You are a blessing to many!

Oh Mary! Will keep you in my prayers as you travel to Little Rock today with Brea. My friends and I all feel like we know you personally. Brea's story has touched so many lives! We pray for you in small group, we discuss updates over the phone and read each other your blog posts. Our husbands and children know your story and pray for you as well. We are all blessed that your story has touched so many lives! Continued prayers for your family and much love from Ohio!

Happy Birthday, Brea! It has been a month since God gave you a new life! God has blessed you so much to heal you so quickly that you were able to go home so soon after your surgery and be with your daddy, brother, and sister! Mary, I know how happy you are to finally be able to go back to church, sing your praises to God, and get refueled with His Word! God is so good! The power of prayer is so awesome! I had two women pray with me last week...I had grown weary of praying by myself...and the NEXT DAY I could see a change in my situation, and it just keeps getting better! God is so faithful and loving, and I pray that He will continue to bless your family. I pray that the plan for church pledges works out. The pictures of Brea and the kiddos are great! They are truly angels from God. Faithfully, Cathy

Mary, I heard you and Brea were in church Sunday. I was in the back with the children in Riverland, so I did not get to see you and welcome you back. I did however welcome back Brooke and Baker. I am so excited that you are all back together at home and that Brea is doing so well! The Lord is AWESOME!!!! Maybe I'll get to see you next Sunday. Love, Heather
