Mary - I have followed your family's story since Brea was admitted into the hospital. I first read about your beautiful family on the China Heart Yahoo group. We have a little girl from China who is also a heart baby. I want you to know that you, Brea and your entire family has been on my mind and in my heart every day all through the day since I first read of Brea going into the hospital. I haven't sent you a mesage yet as I have been so truly touched by your family and your testimony, that I just couldn't find words to express how touched I have been. Not a very good reason, I admit...but the real one. Praise God for the healing that He will bring to Brea! Praise Him for all of the babystep milestones that she reaches and will continue to reach! Mary, your testimony and your witnessing through this very hard situation is such a blessing to me and I am sure to many who read of your story. I thank God daily that He has allowed me to follow your story and watch your faithfulness to Him. We, as Christians, know that we all want to hear the words "Well done - good and faithful servant". Sometimes we don't quite know if we are in the right path towards that goal. I will tell you that from now on when I am thinking about those beautiful words...it is your testimony that will be on my heart. When I read your story, I just know that our Father is so very proud of you...His wonderful child! I thank God that He chose you to be the parents to your very special Brea! I am Jill Sheltons' friend. I have been reading about Brea nearly daily and frequently praying for her. I was watching an episode on the tv 2 days ago about a grown man getting this procedure done as he is waiting for a heart. I instantly thought of Brea but let it go as he was an adult and she is a baby. He said he felt so much better afterward. His color looked good but not normal pink in color. You have God's holy spirit to guide you along with a team of specialist. You will know. Stand still in Him. I'm glad your husband is at your side for a couple days. In prayer, Michelle

All Glory to God!! "All those who desire to live in Christ Jesus WILL be persecuted" 2 Tim 2:12 --- Your testimony is a trial for you to praise and Glorify our Father and that is what you are doing-the Lord will reward your faithfulness to Him and to your testimony of His faithfulness in the midst of tragedy!! ,I too was saddened by "ME" and I have been praying for your precious Brea, every day!!! I will pray for "me" to have a personal realtionship with Jesus Christ. Please be encouraged as you have encouaraged each and every one of us with the testimony of your lives-we who love Jesus join together with you in prayers to our Father that He will be glorified in this situation. Mary, I'm sorry - I forgot to write the reference of the passage I mentioned - it's Acts 23:11. Here is another precious verse too! "But these are only hints of His power, only the whispers that we have heard. Who can truely know how great God is?" Job 26:14 I believe we will all get a chance to see a glimpse of God's greatness through the life of this small child!

Hi Mary! I just wanted to let you know that on Wednesday night we had our regular prayer meeting at church and we prayed for you and Brea and your family. We really believe God will perform a great miracle SOON!!! I can't imagine what it's like to be away from your family, but I believe God has a special provision for each one of them while you are away - and especially your two kids, they are having the opportunity to get to know God in a way that most children their age don't get! He is really close to them right now. I know we don't know each other, but know you are in my eyes an amazing woman! Continue to find your strength in God! There is a passage in Acts that I just love! I have often turned to it in the different night seasons of my life. Paul had been beaten and thrown into prison and the portuguese translation says that God came along beside him in the middle of the night, in the dark and whispered in his ear: "COURAGE!" I am sure you have sensed that over these past few days, so don't worry about what others are saying! Just continue to hear God's whispers to you! Rachel

Mary - I am so thankful for you and your family...it is in times of great trials that God's children shine their faith the best. We know that The LORD God Almighty is our only hope for survival. It is in Him and Him alone to where we must look. As I paged through your guest book, (I confess, I was looking for ??me?) it was evident how across this nation and around the world how your family and little Brea is touching us. I join you in your prayer to return to the quiet tranquility of the family dinner table where all five of you are gathered together. I look forward to the time when you will share those families stories with Brea of how God saw you through the most difficult time of your life. Mary, you don't know me but I have have been following Brea's story sice the beginning on the BB. I just wanted to say that you are an inspiration in the strength you have. My 20 month old son actually spent alot of time in the Arkansas Children's hospital about 1 year ago. I wish I could say that I handled it as well as you are now. Just wanted you to know that you are very encouraging!! Always praying for you all!!
