Oh Mary! She is so beautiful. I hope one day I can meet Brea when you guys come back to North Carolina for a visit. I have fallen in love with her over the web, just as Dewey and I did with Brooke and Baker, except at a much closer distance. You reminded me of what a blessing it was to be in church today with my family. Dewey and I have been so blessed with four children and I cannot even begin to think what it would be like to go through what you have been through these last weeks. Faith is the key!! God is so awesome!

Happy Easter! How wonderful it is to see your whole family together. And Brea in clothes and bows in her hair, and playing with toys, made me cry (happy tears!). We are so happy that she is doing so well. Jesus is so awesome. And you are right..." Where two or more are gathered..." . Jesus has never left your side at ACH. Your faith is amazing. And whenever I think things are too much(which they never really are), I think of Brea's beautiful smile. And I pray and praise God from whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!

She looks BEAUTIFUL all dressed up! Our family is following your blog and we were all celebrating with you on transplant day as well as today! Our adoption journey's sound nearly identical with one problem after another. We arrived home Thanksgiving day with our little Paige. I know I hug her a little more tightly and love her a little more fiercely knowing Brea's story. Happy Easter to all of you, I'm off to let my kids have a little more Easter candy!

Oh, Aunt Mary!!! The photos you posted today simply made me cry with joy! (Patrick is looking at me like I am crazy!) Patrick said "hey" (followed by a bunch of other words that I am sure he understands) when he saw sweet Brea's big smile! The family photo is soooooooooooo wonderful! :) What a wonderful Easter present to see you all together for such a special day! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Please let the other families know that they are in our thoughts and prayers - I know that they are probably like family to you now...which makes them our family, too. :) Happy Easter! Love, Heather Joiner

What tremendous blessings, as if our salvation and the miracle of the Resurrection wasn't enough, God still delights in giving us the desires of our hearts! So good to see your family of FIVE together again! To God be the glory, great things He has done!!!

Praises for God's work in Jalissa and her family. Are they believers? And another Berlin Heart? Amazing! Truly Awesome! After you leave ACH with Brea, you will probably never know how many lives you and Brea have changed by being at ACH at this time. God has truly used you in amazing ways...and He always uses the ones who feel inadequate...you know what I mean. Resurrections happen today, not just in the Bible. Laurie Lee and I were talking about Brea at church today, and we both got tears in our eyes as it began to sink in even more how we truly have witnessed a miracle from God in Brea's situation! We read about it, we think about it, and we pray about it, but it really takes meditating on it and letting it soak in. God healed my children when they were both sick, and I knew that God had perfomed miracles in their lives, but I am still amazed and awestruck when He performs a miracle! All of us have had miracles performed in our lives. The fact that we are living and breathing, have children, etc...all are miracles. And it is by our faith in Jesus, the risen Son of God, that we are able to witness these miracles and understand what they mean and from whom they come. The Israelites in the Old Testament saw miracles, but didn't appreciate what God had done for them. The prophets spoke of miracles, and of course Jesus and his apostles performed miracles. But again, they were not understood, accepted and appreciated for what they were. But through Christ, our eyes, ears, hearts, and minds have been opened, and we can witness and appreciate all God does for us. God is truly amazing and we are so lucky that he loves us so much! I pray that on this Easter Day, God's healing touch will be on all of those who are sick, at ACH, and in our own families, and that He will perform many miracles today! And I also pray that we will all recognize the miracles that God performs in all of our lives, everyday. And don't forget to thank Him for it! Cathy
