I haven't written in a while. I still catch up a few weeks at a time and am so glad that NC brought good changes to your family. I cried through your descriptions of saying goodbye and laughed at the knee socks and Dora shirt. We are waiting on our four year old son from China, and I desparately want to go back again after we bring him home for yet another, but I don't know if God has five children (3 from China) planned for this family. It is inspiring to see your journey.

Sounds like life is getting back to normal for you and Brea is doing great and so glad the kids are finding new friends. I have kept up with your news for months and had friends praying for you and they still ask me how things are going. In your pictures you showed Elon exit, my son graduated from Elon in 1987, it was a great school for him. He got his masters from Ohio State. Small world. Think about your family often and keep them in my prayers. Sara Hess, grandmother of a China Doll who was two on June 7th. A great age, she is just a few days younger than Brea. Take care.

I am so glad to hear that your move was successful and that you have been blessed many more times: insurance costs, proximity to Brea's doctors, friends for the kids, several possibilities for a new church home, great neighbors, etc. I know that when you left a year ago to pick up Brea in China that you had no idea how much your life would change in just one year. But God has gotten you through, and His plan is still working out for you. I pray for your continued faithfulness and God's mercy to fill your lives. Cathy

Hi Mary! Glad to hear you've settled into your new home. I pray that you'll find a new church soon. I think I mentioned that my Dad & Stepmom recently moved to NC from OH. I know all about the lack of rain there ... hopefully you'll get some soon so you can all have some relief!
