I am new to your web page and you do not know me. Some how someone that was familiar with your story also knew my family's story. My son Tillman received a heart SuperBowl Sunday after 5 months of waiting. Your story and your faith are inspiring. Reading your story, I can identify with you and what you are going through. It seems you have a wonderful support system in place and a strong faith to hold you up. Reading about the Berlin heart tells me that you have a great team of doctors who think outside the box which is wonderful in situations like this. My husband and I will be praying for you. If there is anything that we could share with you or any support that we could be, please don't hesitate to ask. We'll check back to see Brea's progress. God is good and He's working in her life and those that are involved in her life. Her story is one of God's tools in his master theater. God Bless your family! Jody Chesney

Dear Mary, just this week someone gave me a book called "Every child needs a praying Mom"! I just started reading it and I love it! Yet, I immediately thought of you! Thank God he gave little Brea a praying Mom! I'm sure she would never make it through this without you and your prayers. If I lived in the US I would send you the book. But maybe you can have someone pick it up for you and you can read it during your time there in the Hospital, I think you would really enjoy it! I am sure getting ready for surgery tomorrow will be tough, remember God is beside you and Brea and I am sure tonight He will visit you and you can hear Him say: "Courage!" I will continue to pray that the donor heart arrives before the Berlin heart. I will be praying for you tonight and all day tomorrw. Please rest and take car of yourself - Brea needs a rested and healthy mommy as she goes through all this! Much love and lots of prayers from Brazil - Rachel

Praying that everything goes fine on Thursday as Brea receives her Berlin heart and that the right heart for her will be available soon. I pray for the donor family too. In Christ's love.

I've been following your story since you arrived at ACH. Mary, you have blessed so many of us who are privledged to walk beside you with our faith. I will continue to pray for Brea and her very special heart she is receiving tomorrow. My prayer is that Jesus will truly, literally live in that Berlin heart and eventually her transplant heart. "Jesus loves Brea, this I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong. They are weak but He is strong." Love Shannon in St Louis
