Mary, I continue to read your updates everyday. Please don't ever stop! I remember on my trip to China how cathartic it was to write down all my feelings on our yahoo group - my exhaustion, my fears (which were great at one point), my relief, etc. I imagine everyone who has followed Brea's story wants you to continue to share it. Please don't worry about telling us the bad times and the bad news, as well as the good. After all, we need to know what to pray for! I can't even imagine how overwhelming the whole insurance problem must be. It sounds like you are doing a wonderful job pursuing every possible option. Like you, I am sure that God has a plan for this. It would be nice, though, if he'd share it sooner rather than later, huh?! However, just like with Brea's heart, I am sure his timing will work out perfectly. Just know that you are in so many people's prayers that something is bound to work out before too long. I'm glad that we are praying about insurance at this point and no longer about keeping Brea well enough to receive a new heart. Hang in there. Wendy

Well, the Lord is truly to be praised! I found out about Brea from my mom (Sue Jolly), and she has been keeping me posted throughout this journey. My sister and her husband recently adopted another little girl from China. But the Lord is working in Breann's life, what a beautiful smile!! Have faith to persevere. James 1:2-3

Dear Mary! You are such a trophy of the grace and love of God! You have been such an encouragement to so many, God has used you to reach MANY! I thought of that verse that says If the son of God be lifted he will draw all men unto him! And that's what you have done, you have lifted up God, Christ and His power and that has drawn so many to Him. As for the miracles that you still need, remember that the God we serve is the God of the impossibles!!! Whatever is impossible to man is possible with God!! And living here on the missionfield there is one lesson I know I have learned, you have to be in a place where you need a miracle to see one, to receive one. If you aren't in a place where you need a miracle, why would God need to perform one??? But isn't great to be in a place where you desperately need to receive from God, and then when the miracle comes you feel like you are the most loved person in the world, and then you KNOW that you are the apple of His eye!!! I know God has a miracle for you, and He will do it! He wouldn't bring you this far to abandon you half way! Embrace His promises and walk forward knowing that He who made the promise is faithful! And thanks so much for posting pictures of Brea! Her smile is the most uplifting thing I have ever seen! To see how sick she was and to now see that beautiful smile is a true remeinder of: "I am that I am, the one and only true God"!!!! Have a great day, Mary, and know that you and Brea are still in my prayers daily!

Mary, I am sure you all have looked into all of the prescription assistance programs. I was able to find 5 or so agencies that assist in coordinating all of the companies who participate. Looks as though you have to be at poverty level? but it would be worth checking with them to see if any would consider how poor you will be if affording all of this medicine. This is indeed a good problem to have!!! I know God will provide for this too!! You must have a million people following Brea's website. Can we ALL make pleas to the manufacturers in Brea's behalff? Perhaps someone out there has some sort of connection. How bout listing her anticipated meds and manufacturers and asking if anyone can help? How on earth can we reduce your income on paper? There will be deductions for medical expenses correct? needymeds.com pparx.org RxAssist Rxoutreach perhaps these sites have manuafacturer's contacts so we can begin an individual plea? I'm sure I have not thought of anything that you all have not already explored - just dying to help! P.S. I keep returning to the Easter photos of Brea in clothes - looking so.... good! I am so amazed by her ability to "fight" and by yours too!! Hang in there!! Love, Danielle

Mary, as you can see, it is a beautiful day today! A new day has dawned, and with it endless possibilities. The clouds have lifted, and Brea will delight in the sunshine, birds, and pretty flowers! She is a ray of sunshine, illuminating everyone she sees with God's perfect love! God delights in you and your family, as well as the donor's family, and He will be the Light in the darkness for all of you, for them, and all of us. The transplant coordinator is your Godsend--let her deal with all of the bureaucracy for a while--enjoy your daughter (I know you are), and rest in God's peace that He will guard, guide, and lead you on this path He has set for you. Laurie told me last night she had seen you yesterday, and that you and Brea look wonderful, and shared the good news about the Ronald McDonald House. It will be such a relief for you to be out of the hospital (as great as it is), and in a quiet place where you and Brea can rest and be with the rest of the family when they come. Don't worry about the hair, girlfriend! We'll get you to a day spa for a good pampering! God bless, Cathy

happy easter! Mary, you will never really know just how much of an inspiration your faith has been to me in recent days. just when i was going through minor trials compared to yours, but nonetheless trials, did i keep returning to the picture of Brea smiling! it's fixed in my head forever as an inspiration when the going gets tough! so sorry to read of your difficult day - you must be so very tired and have come through such stressful days in the past few weeks - no wonder everything feels too much - try to let go and let God, as you have taught us all to do so well. just think how many people this site is reachign and how many praying friends you now have! in fact, i have been at Easter People this week, here in the UK - a week of worship, celebrations, seminars etc based on the theme, "Amazing Grace"! 20,000 Christians meeting together and Brea is now on their prayer list! Grace is a gift from God - Brea Grace is truly a gift from God and it is a blessing to know you all - God will take care of your finances in ways beyond our thinking or understanding at the moment. just keep praying! can't wait to see the pics of Brea in the fresh air on the way to the ronald mc house.........you're on the next step towards home - and two days earlier than first thought too! lots of love and prayers, winging their way through cyberspace!

Mary with God anything and everything is possible, He's still the same God who can move mountains and part the sea. I know he has a plan , and will reveal it all in his time table. Please give the peanut a hug for us!
