In these times we can either panic, become paralized or we can pray! Thank you for being encouraging to many people that need a glimpse of the power of prayer in ones life! May Jesus continued to be glorified in your experience. We continue to pray for you from Ohio.

I am a Bethany Family who adopted our son from Korea in 2003 and are currently waiting for our daughter's referral from Korea. I have been following Brea's story and I wanted to let you know that I am praying for your daughter's recovery. Your faith in our almighty God is unbelievable and really puts life into prespective. I don't know what to say but I wanted to let you know even though we are strangers I pray for your little girl every day and I'm waiting to hear about God's miracle in her life. God's blessings to you.....Bonnie

I want you to know I am praying for you. We are in Alaska and it is our first adoption, 3rd child. Our oldest(age 8) left us to be with God on 1/6/6. She wanted to adopt a sister and we are. I have talked to her about your Brea and asked her to ask God to help her. I have to say I agree that faith is the best thing. I don't know what I would have done without it. I also wanted to ask you if you have checked to see if you state has a special medicaid program that does not count your finances. My late daugther was on one and it did not include our income and it was just due to her illness. It is called Tefra medicaid in Alaska. It paid all of her costs after insurance and her meds. Call your congresman and ask him for help. I was sad to see it was denied. God Bless and I would continue to talk to Chelsea in my prayers for you little one. Kathy Tatakis in Anchorage Alaska

I am writing from Georgetown TX. My niece from LA, who has adopted two precious angels from China, sent me your story. The beauty of your children and your faith has touched my heart more than you will ever know. My husband has had cancer for seven years, so I understand the pain and utter confusion that you are undergoing. That said, it is stil different when it's your child. You have my daliy "air" prayers. I will share what a friend wrote me the other day: "The next time you go outside at night, look at the sky...all the stars you see are prayers going heavenward for you." I share my strength with you. Blessings always. Becky

Mary, I prayed this prayer last night for little Brea on LCC and your post today is full of God's promise and answers to these prayers. Holy Lord God. Little Brea is struggling and her family grows weary. The obstacles around them seem like mountains, and yet, Lord, you are able to make rivers spring up in the dessert and to create a way in the wilderness. Lord, rally all of Brea's defenses against the infection. Lord, in your mercy continue to relieve her fear and pain and reduce the swelling of her heart. Help her to sleep without extra medication and to be at peace with the tubes that are placed for her healing. Fill her family and everyone who comes into contact with her, with a sense of hope and assurance of your gentle and mighty hand at work. Lord, hold little Brea and the heart you have created for her, in the palm of your hand, restoring it's function in a miraculous and complete way. Lord, blow your breath into her deflated lung and fill her blood with your life-giving power and strength. Some day Brea will run and not grow weary, will walk and not be faint, for you are the God of all mercy and in you all things have come into being. I am praying now that her heart function will continue to increase, beyond all expectation and without any medical explanation. I am also praying for a mighty miracle to finance her care. Lord bring this child's heart to a receptive ear, ready and waiting and able to make a mighty sacrificial gift to save a life. In all things we bless and praise your most holy name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Praise God, indeed!! I just read your update about today, and it is wonderful! Get ready...the miracles will start coming in waves now, not just baby steps!! That is how it happened with my daughter a couple of weeks ago, when the doctors at ACH believed she had a blood clot in her leg. She (and I) believe she did in fact have one, but God dissolved it because of the faithful prayers of many believers. She is now running around and even jumping rope on a leg she couldn't walk on less than a week ago. I am close by, so I plan to come and see you---maybe tomorrow AM. I can't wait to meet you. You have been such an inspiration to me and many other people around the world! God bless, Cathy
