I had the same question as Betsy--what happened to require the cast? Love reading about how your family's doing!

I would love for you to contact me to see about having our girls tested for siblingship. I emailed you September 2008 and we discussed this subject. It would great to know if they have a familial connection.

Wow, how lucky for you and Bailey. I am sure she will treasure all of this info and pictures when she older. I would love to have a connection with our daughter's foster family but we weren't as lucky as you. Your family is beautiful and love following your adventures.

I will be praying for Bailey , for God to comfort that little heart as she grieves for her foster family. You are right, that is all she knew and it seems that she misses them, i know it breaks your heart too, but God will take care of the situation. He has placed her in the arms of a loving, Christian family and she is so blessed to be with you, but at the same time she doesn't understand that right now. Praying for you all. God Bless

Hi, I just read through most of your experience with Brea. We are adopting Liu Fang a little girl with complex heart problems. You can find out more about her on www.halfthesky.com or on our blog www.bringinghomelei.blogspot.com Please pray for our little girl. Thank you for your encouraging story. Sylvia

I love your blog, I've been following it since little Brea was so ill. I prayed for her and your family and always continued to follow your story. You have a beautiful family and I admire your love and trust in Our Lord, it is so inspiring. The pictures of the children are so sweet, and Brea and Bailey are so precious together. Your pictures always tell a wonderful story. God Bless. Nancy, mom to 2 precious daughters from China.

I spent the morning today reading your journals about your family and the adoptiond of Brea and Bailey. Congratulations! I also am adopting from China and am DTC as of last week. My little one is 3 with a repaired VSD @ 3 mos of age. I knew about Brea's situation when she got so sick. I prayed often for her health and peace for your family. I lost your blog info just prior to transplant time. I am so happy to have found it back today. Yes, I believe your family has been blessed by the hand of God! What a wonderful story. You are an inspiration to families everywhere, I'm sure. I hope life with four children is everything you could ever want. We have 4 boys and I have always felt that pull for the love of a daughter. Thank you for sharing so candidly!
