Mary, I've been checking your updates daily and keeping our Prayer Team updated as much as possible. We've been praying for Brea and the whole family daily, and yesterday the whole congregation at RCC said a special prayer for Brea. I'm a small group shepard of the 5th grade girls at RCC, and every Sunday we have prayed for you too! I wholeheartedly believe that prayer is the most powerful weapon we have, and I believe that God sent Brea to you for a very special reason. Thanks so much for your updates, they are so touching and inspirational! I hope to encourage you with God's word: "For we know that God works everything for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose", Romans 8:28 Love, Heather

Mary, it was so good to talk to you last night. When I got home and read my devotionals, one of them was Psalm 147, and this line jumped out at me: "He heals the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds." (v. 3). I thought that was such an incredible affirmation for the so many things we talked about, but especially about Brea's heart. I called my friend, and she was delighted to receive affimation for what she felt God was telling her, and she will continue to pray for Brooke and Baker. We will continue to pray for all of you. And I especially pray for you, Mary, and that God will continue to give you His strength and grace. You are bearing such a heavy load, not only for yourself and your family, but also for the other families you come to know while you are there. Remember that Jesus calls us to come to Him and lay our burdens at His feet. He will give us rest. I know you pray for wisdom and strength, but I hope you remember to pray for release from all that you have been dealing with, release not in a sense that you can ignore it, but more of a peace of mind and a discerning heart in dealing with all of these difficult situations. Just remember that when we totally surrender to God and His plan, we are free to just "be", and then He will do the work. You are an amazing woman and an incredible mom, but remember that you do need to take care of yourself. God is watching over everyone and everything. He will provide and protect. Call me if you need anything: to talk, to go somewhere, anything. I will be back to see you---I promised a soft lovey for Brea. God is going to heal her heart, and you will not leave ACH without her. Faithfully, Cathy

Hi, We are so glad Brea is doing a little better. We are keeping her in our prayers. We emailed Oprah tonight and pray she will help you out some how. We read you site everyday in hopes of positive post for Brea. Our 3 yr old daughter Hannah also from China was born w/VSD the hole closed on its own we are so thankful to God for this, our doctor said it was nothing short of a miracle with the placement of the hole and the large size. Hannah does have seizures (febrel) so she should out grown them. I pray that Brea will come thru all of the medical procedures and bounce back to a healthy toddler like Hannah. Blessings to you all. Grace

Hi, Mary, We are so glad things are looking so much better for Brea. We added her to our prayer list again today, and shared your website and wonderful people will be adding their prayers to all of ours. We are so glad you and Danny were able to attend services there at the Chapel. We fully understand what you mean when you speak of the music feeding your soul, too--I believe singing and worshiping the Lord through music is His own special deep communication with our souls. We will continue praying for you all and for everyone there and for those who don't know our wonderful LORD. We will continue to check for updates daily to learn of Brea's progress. May God comfort and strengthen you hourly as you go through this process. Your family in Christ, Charlotte and Ken

"Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise Him all creatures here below..." This is what I thought of after reading the updates on Brea. I have been unable to get to the computer for a few days and all I could think about was "how is Brea...what is going on...." To read such good news was thrilling. I can't help but cry due to the merciful goodness and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I will continue to pray and rejoice with you. Keep the faith and may God hold you in the palm of His hand each and every second of every day. Your sister in Christ. Joan

Here is the KLOVE Encouraging Word for today: "Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning." Lamentations 3:23 NLT. Pretty much how you started your post today. Hang in there, and know that we are all blessed to be a blessing. Cathy
