Hang in There! I am urging everyone to email Oprah! I am sending a direct link to her site to everyone I know so that they can email her your story. If one person can help, it's Oprah. Your family does not deserve the neglect you are receiving from our government. I pray that you get help and don't have to lose everything you all have obviously worked so hard for. I continue to pray for Brea and your family. Bless you!

There is nothing wrong with tears. They do not mean that you are weak or lacking faith. Tears are precious to our Lord, His word says that He catches our tears in a bottle. How sweet that is just to think about. Also, there is a program unknown to many in need; but some drug companies do provide medications to people at no charge when ability to pay can affect the health of the person needing the meds. My father was on such a program. it did require paper work to be filed, and after that his meds were delivered monthly. Check it out.
Now when satan comes with an attack tell him to get out..you are the rightousness of God by Christ Jesus.
Thank you for your strong witness and testimony throughout this long ordeal, you are a beacon of Light for many. Your words have blessed us all. You have been called for such a time as this. Keep on, be strong in His love and His might; and kiss the princess for us. We love her dearly, and pray for her always. Love her pictures, they mean so much to us as we wait to hear about our childrens soon to be adopted daughter from China.
God bless you and your dear family.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today & tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Mt 6:25-34
Praying for you & your family and sending you a big hug.

Hang in there! Sometimes the mountain seems to loom so large. Take one step at a time. We're all praying for you to find a way.

Hang in there Mary, it was a matter of time when you'd finally have one of "those" days. You can look at it this way- your daughter is over the big hump and on the road to recovery you now can sigh and worry about the little things again- money. God will provide (I've learned that from you). It's just got to be so overwhelming when it all hits at once. Keep your chin held high and know that there are thousands of us out here in cyber space praying, cheering and crying with you. You and your dear family are wrapped in love and prayer by all of us, you are never alone.
Your friend, Heidi

Mary,
I have follwed your families story and I am thrilled by the beautiful pictures of Brea. In reading your last blog on the prescription expenses, I know the frustration of the overwhelming costs of medication. My husband is on a large regimine of heart medications as well, and like you, we do not qualify for assistance due to our income. We have found a considerable savings on ordering the IDENTICAL (nothing generic) medications he needs to live in Canada. We use the website CanadaDrugs.com (recommended by his heart surgeon) to fill and receive his prescriptions. It is legal, the delivery is fast and although you may not be able to use it for all of Brea's medications, even by using it for just one or two could possibly save you thousands of dollars. After using CanadaDrugs.com for the last 6 months, I find them to be extremely reliable and professional with any questions I have in regards to placing new prescriptions, refilling r/x, etc. etc. Good luck to you -- stay strong and everything will work out. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Hello, I have been reading your story about the financial issues, I work in a Medicaid office in Indiana and have some options that I would like to pass along to you. Is there a number I could call you at or how can I discuss this with you. Please send me an email and let me know how I could discuss in more detail some of these ideas.
We have our church prarying for you and your family. We adopted our China doll in Dec 2005. They are truly blessings. Mackenzie has been sick alot with RSV and respiratory complications this winter, hoping Spring does better for her. But since your story, I am not so careful about not taking her to the doctor. IF I think something is wrong I take her. After all we pay them for services anyway. Please contact me at my email address. Love and Prayers from North Vernon, IN

Hi Mary - I'm soooo sorry you had a rough day. I'm glad Brea did very well though! It just must be so hard for you, and I'm sure missing Danny and the kids didn't help matters any... One thought I had re: the cost of the drugs, have you thought about contacting the drug companies? Maybe that's something with which your hospital social worker could help you (because I'm sure you have one or two things to do during the day! haha). I know some companies have programs to help those who can't afford the retail cost of the drugs (I mean, really, if the drug isn't covered by insurance, who could??? Four drugs for $2,700 is insane - and that's probably a 30-day supply at best). I will keep all of you in my prayers - hang in there!!!!! =) Kim
