Hello there - it's Sherri & Todd from the Nickelodeon Cruise adoption from China as well. Hope all is well and you all got home safe? We got home just in time for a possible hurricane (Fay). I have been blogging just about all day. But i'm not done - only did 3 days. It was very nice meeting you and your family on the cruise. We will follow you guys on your next journey. Take care and please keep in touch. Sherri

Hi Mary, It has been a while since going to your site, I am so thrilled at how good Brea looks. My daughter also adopted from China and at times her heart wants another one also, time will tell! I enjoyed reading about how you met the donor's family, what a blessing that must have been for that mom. God is so good to us who have accepted Jesus, it is a joy to watch your family grow!! How did you ever come out with the insurance? Did you ever get the coverage needed, or are you still in need of help???? Your sister in Christ, Pat

I saw your posting when I was checking in after several months to see how Breanne is doing. She has always stayed in my heart. :) And, having adopted a child with a corrected VSD, I followed your journey to transplant and after with awe and respect. You will make the right decision regarding another little girl, but for the record, I cannot imagine a better family for this little girl to come to. You are one of my heroes. I would read about your driving back and forth to the hospital and it renewed my faith in mankind (womankind?) each time. Who wants to be "normal"....it is so boring!! I wish I could add another one to my family, but the new regulations keep me from doing so. I'd love to be a bigger, (ab)normal family...Your heart will tell you what to do and it will lead you exactly where you need to go. Best of luck and Breanne looks great!! Deborah

Somehow I think you already know what you should do with this little girl. I think for most of us the "normal" family size is determined not by what society expects, but by many personal factors. For most of us it is financial. I don`t think you should let societies "normal" define what is normal for YOUR family. I think that one of the blessings of a strong marriage is a couples ability to balance each other. When one gets grand ideas the other is the voice of reason. When you both have the same grand ideas I think you have to take that as a powerful message. You asked your readers to pray that if this is meant to be that God clears the path. That made me think of a sign I saw in front of a local church. I am not overly religious. Most signs I see in front of the church make me giggle, some make me roll my eyes. Many do have a good message, but I don`t give them much thought after passing the church. This sign was different. As I passed it I said to myself "I am going to remember that, I have a feeling I am going to come across someone that needs to hear that" The sign said Faith makes things possible, not easy"

Mary - I saw your posting on the Bethany forum about your newest addition to the family. I'm thrilled for all of you. Brea has been an amazing blessing to so many people. Your family is the perfect family for this little one. We were in China in March to get our little girl and she underwent open-heart surgery 3 weeks after we were home from China. I'd do it all over again. All my love, Kim Kenward kenward.blogspot.com
