Some assembly required... · December 29, 2008

We had a wonderful CHRISTmas!  Brooke and Baker woke us up at 4:00 AM, 6:00 AM and then again at 7:00 AM.  Brea was not at all happy when we woke her up at 7:00 but as soon as she remembered that Santa had come during the night her attitude changed and she became very excited!  Brooke and Baker blew through their gifts in no time flat and then took the time to go back and look at each one.  Brea on the other hand opened one at a time and wanted it taken out of the package so she could play with it.  When she opened her sleeping beauty dress and crown she insisted on wearing it and stripped her pjs off and put it on with a little help from Daddy.  So, half of the Christmas pictures have Brea dressed in her pjs and the other half have her dressed in her sleeping beauty gown...too cute!  Mommy and Daddy spent the day taking things out of the boxes and putting things together.  Doing that for three kids requires several cups of coffee, a heap of patience and some Tylenol!  Thank goodness Brooke and Baker can read and do much of it for themselves!  After our traditional breakfast of breakfast quiche, muffins and fruit we all took a nice little nap.

Friday morning we headed out for Charlotte to celebrate Christmas with Mary's family.  We had a house full of folks...Granny, Uncle Scott and Aunt Tina, Aunt Tammy, Uncle Tim and Ben, Heather, Brian and little Patrick, Uncle Hunter, Uncle Jonathan and our crew of five!  We had a wonderful time visiting, playing, cooking, making cookies and just hanging out together!

We hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas too.

Enjoy the photos!
