Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! · January 03, 2011

I hope you and your family enjoyed a wonderful Christas together.  We used our timeshare and took the kids to Branson, MO.  We spent Christmas Eve with Danny's sister Lori and her family since she just lives two hours from Branson. We spent the day catcing up, visiting, eating, watching the kids play and decorating cookies for Santa.  It was a wonderful day and left us longing to live closer to family.  Before we knew it, the day was over and we were on our way back to Branson.  The little girls could hardly wait to get home (the condo) and put out the cookies and milk for Santa.

Christmas day was spent in our pjs.  Danny and I were busy unpackaging toys, installing batteries and watching the kids playing with their new treasures.  We even saw a few snow flurries falling outside.

The rest of the week was spent riding horses, going to shows, hanging out in the lodge playing board games, making crafts, playing ping pong, pin ball and just relaxing.  The kids and I read several good books and Danny got a few hours of work in but for the most part we just relaxed, watched movies, played and spent time together.  It was wonderful.

It is hard to believe that 2010 is over.  Our family was truly blessed with good health and a year of wonderful memories.  I pray that 2011 will be as good to us and that your new year will be blessed as well.

Enjoy the photos and look for future updates in the 2011 folder!
