Happy Halloween!
It was a busy Halloween at our house. The kids carved pumpkins after school. Brooke and Baker did really well cleaning their pumpkins out but Brea decided after feeling the seeds and goo that she was done. We then attended a Halloween party for our street at our neighbor's house. There are 25 kids on our street and they were ALL there! Afterwards we went tick or treating and let me tell you...Brea REALLY had the hang of it this year. Brooke and Baker always beat her to the door but as soon as she got there she pushed them aside and SCREAMED "Trick or Treat"! It had been really warm (70s) until the sun went down and then it got rather cool (50s) but Brea refused to put on a jacket because she wanted everyone to see her costume. She finally agreed when I told her we would have to go home if she didn't wear her jacket. After we got home she dumped her pumpkin on the floor and found that someone had given her Swedish Fish...she was thrilled! Needless to say the kids all fell asleep without much of a fuss after such a full day.
