The kids had their final games of the Fall season last weekend. Brooke's was Friday night and it was cold and rainy but the game went on! Brooke took a pretty good hit from a crazy pitcher but she shook it off and took her base. Afterwards the coach handed out medals and then the team went out for ice cream! Brooke's team had finished first in their league! Go Scrappers!
Baker's team was set to play on Saturday morning but the game was rained out. The boys were upset but when they learned we would still meet for the pizza party they cheered up! Baker's coach handed out the medals and trophies and said a little bit about each boy on the team. Baker's league doesn't rank the Fall teams but we are pretty sure they came in 2nd or 3rd. Go Rockhounds!
