Health Update
I just wanted to take a moment to update you on Brea's health. She has been to the cardiologist and her heart has almost healed. The hole is now 1.4 mm which is more than 50% smaller than it was at the time of her referral. She won't need to go back to the cardiologist for one year!
Our pediatrician has also seen her and diagnosed her with Spina Bifida Occulta. It is very mild and may not cause any problems for her. We are still waiting on results from some tests to find out more. She has had 3 shots and has had blood taken as well as an echocardiogram, EKG and x-rays but the scariest part for her was having her blood pressure taken. She just can't understand why that thing was squeezing her.
