Thanksgiving 2006 in Lamar, Arkansas
We took the kids to Grandma and Grandpa's for Thanksgiving this year. It was Brea's first time meeting her grandparents, her Gommy and Poppy, her Auntie Rose and Uncle Robbie and her cousins Jamie, Ben and Anna. She will meet her mommy's family at Christmas.
The kids spent lots of time outside riding the four wheeler and buggy and Baker got lots of quality time with Daddy, Poppy and Grandpa while they chopped firewood for the winter. The kids also talked Grandma into chocolate gravy and homemade biscuits for breakfast and we all had our fill of fresh baked pies and homemade fruitcake. Our visit was over way too fast and on the way home the kids decided that they want to go this Summer and spend a week with Grandma and Grandpa and another week with Gommy and Poppy.
