A Texas Thanksgiving! · December 19, 2010

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone and we are just days away from Christmas!  This year we spent Thanksgiving in Houston, TX.  Brooke was selected as an All American Dancer at UDA camp this past summer at LSU and was asked to dance in the Houston Thanksgiving Day parade.  It was an awesome experience!  There were 255 girls from all over the country that participated.  It was our first time visiting Houston so we took the opportunity to visit the Houston Space Center.  It was a little strange to celebrate Thanksgiving in a hotel room with pizza but we made up for it that weekend.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving found us back on the road on our way to Brookhaven, MS to visit Danny's dad and stepmom.  His sister and her husband and daughter had come in from northwest Arkansas and we couldn't wait to get there to see everyone!  The day was over before we knew it and we were once again on the road again.  Our time spent driving game us lots of time to talk about the things we were thankful for.  It only took a quick glance in the rearview mirror to be reminded of all that God has blessed our family with.  Here are a few photos from our Thanksgiving.  Enjoy!
